WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
(If you need more direction, think about something you might’ve worn to a wedding but didn’t because you feared it’d be “too much” — whatever that something was, that would be PERFECT for this.)
Formal attire — but feel free to have fun with it. Life’s short! It’s a party!
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
No gifts necessary — apart from ONE gesture that would really mean a lot to me:
At the event, I will have a big blank book that people can write or paste notes and photos into. You can either write something on the spot, or bring something to stick in the book upon arrival (I’ll have supplies lol). You can write a message, recount your favorite memory with me, or draw something. I know this is corny, but so is love and I love NYC and I love you!
CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
Yes! By this point you should know one of my core values is “the more the merrier”
IS IT AN OPEN BAR?
Unfortunately, my plan to be filthy rich after ten years of living in NYC has not gone exactly as I hoped. So, no — I’m sorry, you have to pay for your own drinks ☹️
